South Parker Road MVA

At 12:09 on July 6th, 2018 South Metro Fire Rescue responded to a traffic collision at South Parker Rd. and J Morgan Blvd. in Parker.  911 callers reported a commercial vehicle had flipped over and people were trapped.  When crews arrived they found a delivery truck on its wheels after rolling over, a sedan with significant front end damage and a large fuel spill.  After a triage of the scene no extrication was needed, two people were found with minor injuries and transported to the hospital.  Safety 3 assumed command and Safety 35 was assigned as Incident Safety Officer.  Haz-Mat 38 and Medic 37 responded to assist with plugging the leaking fuel tank while firefighters used dirt and absorbent to clean up the diesel.  Parker Road remained closed for an extended time while Parker Police Department conducted their investigation.
