Thornton Kitchen Fire

At approximately 14:15 on August 20th, 2018 Thornton Fire Department Engine 74 was dispatched to a residential kitchen fire at 12955 Lafayette St. Engine 74 arrived on scene to a 2-stoey multi-family apartment complex with nothing showing. Engine 74 was in the offensive strategy and pulled a 1 ¾ pre-connect for fire control / attack and search. Med 74 extinguished the fire and completed a primary search with negative findings. The fire was contained to the stove area of the kitchen and no injuries were reported.
