Arvada Structure Fire

At 18:32 on September 14th, 2019 Arvada Fire Protection District with auto-aid from Fairmount Fire Protection District was alerted to a structure fire at W. 56th Ave. & Ward Rd. Tower 56 arrived to a 1-story single story with a working fire on the Delta side, pulling a line in for search & rescue fire control in the offensive strategy. Tower 56 secured their own water supply with Medic 52, and Rescue 52 arrived and assigned as fire attack. Battalion 52 arrived and assumed command. Crews found the building was vacant, and the fire was quickly extinguished. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
