On June 6th, 2019 at 09:09 Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched by Aurora 911 Emergency Communications to a full Haz-Mat response to the Aurora Municipal Court and Detention Center at 14999 E. Alameda Parkway. Dispatch advised that an officer began testing a unknown substance, and had an adverse reaction, with possible other patients involved. Battalion 2 arrived with the command post set-up on S. Chambers Rd. and requested 2 additional ambulances to the scene. Crews set-up decon, and two patients were evaluated and transported with unknown injuries and a third patient was evaluated with a non-transport. Crews cleared the scene at 11:40 and no other information was released.
