Aurora Apartment Fire

Around 19:22 on May 5th, 2019 Aurora 911 Emergency Communications dispatched Aurora Fire Rescue to possible apartment fire in the 14000 block of Stanford Circle. Engine 7 arrived on scene to a 2-story multi-family with nothing showing and investigation. Crews found smoke in an apartment with a dryer arching causing a small fire, controlled mostly by shutting down electricity and utilities to the structure, with Rescue 7 securing the utilities, and Battalion 3 arrived and assumed command. Crews got the fire extinguished quickly that was confined to one room. No injuries were reported.
