Aurora Smoke Investigation
At 10:06 on June 3rd, 2019 Aurora Fire Rescue responded to reported structure fire in the 2300 block of S. Vaughn Way. Aurora 911 Emergency Communications advised that 911 caller reporting smoke in the laundry room. Engine 7 arrived to a multi-family 4-story apartment complex with nothing showing and established command on the Alpha-Bravo, and started investigation of the 2nd floor and into the laundry room. Truck 8 arrived and tasked with searching the 1st and 3rd floors, and Engine 11 arrived and staged at the hydrant. Battalion 2 arrived and assumed command, and Battalion 3 arrived and assigned as safety. Engine 7 discovered a faulty dryer and canceled the rest of the incoming units.
