Denver House Fire

At 00:38 on November 12th, 2019 Denver Fire Department was alerted to a possible house fire in the 4300 block of W. Center Ave. in the Westwood neighborhood. Engine 23 arrived to a single-family with heavy fire and smoke showing from the Charlie side and secured their own water supply and started fire attack, with Tower 23 starting the primary search with Truck 12. Engine 20 laid in at S. Stuart St. & W. Custard Pl. and pulled an attack line in on the Alpha side. Chief 6 arrived and took over the command, with Rescue 1 going to the roof for vertical ventilation, and Truck 28 as the RIT. Crews got the fire under control within 30 minutes with an extended overhaul. The cause of the fire is under investigation and no injuries were reported. Additional information provided by Denver Fire Department
