On June 2nd, 2019 Denver Fire Department Water Rescue Team responded to a water rescue in the 4600 block of W. Evans Ave. at the Ward Reservoir # 5  (Riviera Lake) in Harvey Park. Crews arrived and started a search with drivers after a person and a dog went missing on the lake after the boat was found empty. After crews searched the lake with the water rescue boat and sonar, no one was found, and a recovery/search mode was called at the lake and the Harvey Park Lake, which is also in the area. Denver Police Department & Denver Paramedics also assisted with land search. Crews search late in the evening and searched the lake again on June 3rd and June 4th.

*Story Update: Crews found the missing boater body, deceased on June 4th, 2019 in the Ward Reservoir # 5, and the dive teams started the recovery.
