Loveland House Fire

On March 29th, 2019 at 00:08 Loveland Fire Rescue Authority to a structure fire in the 200 block of Ranch Acres Dr. Loveland Emergency Communications Center (LECC) received multiple 911 calls reporting the house was on fire. Engine 5 arrived on scene to a medium side one-story residential structure with a working fire on the Alpha-Bravo corner, and pulled a green line in for fire attack. Engine 2 arrived and established a water supply and Battalion 1 arrived and assumed command in the offensive strategy. Crews worked heavy fire into the attic area, and TVEMS Paramedic 361 transported one patient to a local hospital. Command requested additional ambulance and engine to the scene, and Engine 1 arrived and pulled a 2nd line in. Crews got the fire under control and out with a extended overhaul. The cause of the fire is under investigation and no other injuries were reported. Berthoud Fire Protection District, Poudre Fire Authority and Windsor Severance Fire Rescue provided coverage for the district.  Additional information provided by Loveland Fire Rescue Authority.
