Thornton Vegetation Fire

At 18:19 on September 14th, 2019 Thornton Fire Department responded to a vegetation fire at 401 W. 88th Ave. in the Niver Creek Open Space in Thornton. Engine 72 & Med 72 arrived to a 100×100 grass fire, slow moving and started fire attack. Crews got the fire under control quickly and started overhaul with hot spots.
