Denver House Fire

At 14:15 on November 6th, 2019 Denver Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 3434 N. Garfield St. with multiple 911 callers. Engine 10 arrived and laid in at E. 34th Ave. & Garfield St. with heavy smoke showing from the 2nd floor on the Alpha-Delta corner and stretched a line in for fire attack. Engine 26 arrived and went to work on Engine 10’s plug, and Engine 3 established a second water supply and laid into the alley. Chief 4 arrived and took over Garfield command, with Truck 26 to the Alpha side, Truck 15 starting the primary search, and Engine 3 on the Charlie side with an attack line inside the structure. Rescue 2 arrived and assigned as RIT, and Tower 9 to the roof. Crews found fire on the 1st floor, and reported that all searches proved negative. The fire was put out quickly and crews started overhaul. Fire investigators were called to the scene to determine the cause of the fire. Additional information provided by Denver Fire Department
