DTC High Angle Rescue

At 00:20 on January 15th, 2019 South Metro Fire Rescue responded to parties trapped in a elevator at 7600 Landmark Way at the Denver Tech Center in Greenwood Village. Tower 32 arrived and advised that the call be upgraded to a high angle rescue. Battalion Chief 3 arrived on scene and advised MetCom for additional engine to the scene. Rescue 34 arrived and assisted with man power, and Engine 33 arrived and assigned to assist crews from Rescue 34. Crews worked an extended time with a party trapped in a elevator on the 5th floor, crews advanced with equipment to the 6th floor. Crews were able to rescue the party with a dog in the elevator shaft at 02:37 and all cleared at 03:03.
