At 17:49 on March 3rd, 2019 West Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched by JeffCom to a possible structure fire in the 3500 block of Fenton St. Engine 16 arrived to a small single-story family residential with a working fire on the Alpha side, pulled a 1 ¾ line for fire attack in the offensive strategy, and established their own water supply. District 1 arrived on scene and assumed command, assigned Engine 17 as RIT. Tower 2 arrived and laddered the roof. An all clear was given with the primary search of the structure and crews got control of the fire and checked the attic area for extension. Crews worked fire conditions with single digit temperatures. No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation.
