Adams County Structure Fire

Around 11:40 on April 11th 2020 Adams County Fire Rescue & Federal Heights Fire Department responded to a structure fire at W. 84th Ave. & Zuni St. Battalion 11 advised of smoke showing and requested a major incident tone. Engine 41 arrived on scene to a small single-story home with involvement from a trash fire, and pulled a 1 3/4 preconnect for fire attack in the offensive strategy. Engine 11 arrived and set-up at the hydrant and laid in a dry line to Engine 41.  Engine 41 pulled a 2nd line in with Medic 41 for a bobcat on fire with several vehicles. Battalion 11 arrived and assumed W. 84th Ave command, assigned Medic 11 for primary search and SAM 11 as safety with utilities. Crews got the fire out quickly with no extension into the garage. No reported injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Additional information provided by Adams County Fire Rescue
