South Metro Vehicle vs. House

On September 8th, 2020 at approximately 17:35 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident involving a vehicle versus a home at E. Orchard Rd. and S. Dunkirk St. in unincorporated Arapahoe County.   Firefighters arrived on scene and found that a vehicle had run off the road, struck a tree, ran through a hedge and crashed into the back of a residence in the 5800 block of S. Espana St. One person was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. Firefighters remained on scene to ensure the residence was stable and help remove the vehicle. CSP is investigating the crash.
