Arvada Commercial Fire
At 04:25 on April 8th, 2020 Arvada Fire Protection District responded to a commercial structure fire in the 6260 W. 52nd Ave. at the Clear Creek Valley Business Park. Engine 51 arrived to smoke coming from the building as well as the fire alarm and sprinkler system that was activated. Engine 51 made entry and started fire attack, and Battalion 51 arrived and took over command. Truck 54 arrived and assigned to ladder the roof from the Charlie-Delta corner. Rescue 52 started primary search and Medic 16 assigned to medical. Command request to move up the ghost engine to the scene and an additional engine to the scene. Crews got the fire under control and out quickly and started overhaul. Crews found no occupants in the building and no reported injuries. The cause and origin of the fire are under investigation.
