Arvada House Fire

On November 25th, 2020 at 21:51 Arvada Fire Protection District with auto-aid from West Metro Fire Rescue responded to the 5600 block of Yarrow St. in Olde Town Arvada on a possible residential structure fire. Engine 51 arrived to smoke showing from the eves, and pulled 1 3/4 line to the Alpha side for primary search, rescue and fire control. Medic 51 established the water supply to Engine 51, and Truck 54 assigned ventilation. Battalion 51 arrived and assumed command with a working fire in the offensive strategy, Medic 54 assigned as medical and Rescue 52 assisted with the fire attack and search. Rescue 52 pulled a 2nd line to the Alpha side. Fire was contained to the attic space. All parties were able to exit safely and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
