At 19:24 on February 3rd, 2020 Boulder Police & Fire Communications dispatched Boulder Fire-Rescue Department to residential structure fire in the 3800 block of 15th St. Engine 2505 arrived to a medium 2 story single-family home with a working fire on the Bravo side in the offensive strategy and a 1 3/4 pre-connect was stretched for fire control on an exterior fire. Battalion Chief 2570 arrived and assumed command, and the fire was controlled in less than 30 minutes but overhaul was hampered due to construction of structure.  The area of origin was a finished porch with a roof over a roof creating a space for fire extension.
