At 18:18 on November 6th, 2020 Boulder Fire-Rescue Department was dispatched to reports of a possible grass fire in the area of Flatirons Subaru at 5995 Arapahoe Ave. Enroute to that call, the crew noticed significant smoke and flames coming from a storage facility just east of that address and they requested a full first alarm. They entered the Life Storage facility to find several RVs fully involved near the rear of the property. Crews worked quickly to establish a water supply and get water on the fire. No injuries to civilians or firefighters were reported and the fire is under investigation. Rocky Mountain Fire Protection District, Lafayette Fire Department & Boulder Rural Fire Rescue assisted with the fire.
