At 14:32 on February 21st, 2020 South Metro Fire Rescue & Castle Rock Fire Rescue responded to a MVA with possible extrication at the Cielo at Castle Pines, 485 W. Happy Canyon Rd.  Engine 39 arrived to a single-vehicle teetering on the edge of an embankment and started the investigation. Crews reported that the 2 occupants inside were not injured, and were unable to safely exit the vehicle on their own. Battalion Chief 1 arrived and assumed command, and requested a front loader to the scene. A winch was used to prevent the vehicle from falling until recovery operators arrived and provided additional rigging. At 16:02 the vehicle was on level ground and the occupants were assisted out by firefighters. Additional information provided by South Metro Fire Rescue
