Around 18:45 on August 8th, 2020 Denver Fire Department Rescue 1 was alerted to a class 1 fire alarm at the Historians Ale House, 24 N. Broadway. Rescue 1 arrived to light smoke showing from the roof and started the investigation and called for the group. Engine 11 with Engine 21 arrived and started fire attack and Truck 4 vented the roof with Rescue 1. Crews found fire in the hood system, and got the fire quickly controlled and started overhaul.
