Denver House Fire

Around 17:00 on March 19th, 2020 Denver Fire Department responded to a possible structure fire in the 4400 block of N. Clay St. in Sunnyside. Crews arrived to a single-story single-family residence with nothing showing. District 6 arrived and assumed Clay St. command. Engine 7 found light smoke showing from the Delta side and pulled a line in for fire attack. Engine 12 secured Engine 7’s water supply and Truck 12 started primary search. Crews got the fire out quickly with no extension, and started overhaul. The fire is under investigation with no reported injuries. One family dog was rescued.
