Denver Garage Fire

At 19:15 on December 4th, 2020 Denver Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire in the 8800 block of E. 12th Ave. Crews arrived to a working garage fire from a two-story multi-family with a large body of fire showing, extending into the residential building and started fire attack. Crews laddered the roof and reported fire in the attic and opened up the roof for vent. Chief 4 arrived and assumed command, and assigned Ops 2 as safety. Firefighters got the fire out and started overhaul. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
