Denver Attic Fire

At 20:12 on June 29th, 2020 Denver Fire Department was alerted to a structure fire at 728 York St. in the Country Club historic neighborhood. Dispatch received multiple 911 callers for an attic fire. Engine 8 arrived and laid in from E. 8th Ave. & York St. with smoke and fire showing from the attic of a single-family residential. Truck 8 started on search and started aerial ops. Truck 15 cut a hole for vent, Engine 15 pulled a back-up line, and Tower 4 assigned as RIT. The cause is under investigation and no injuries were reported.
