West Metro Small Fire

At 15:58 on November 14th, 2020 West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a possible residential structure fire in the 1900 block of Eaton St. in Lakewood. Engine 1 arrived to a three-story medium size structure with nothing showing and started the investigation. SAM 1 reported light smoke showing from the roof and crews found a planter that had caught fire, which was caused by a cigarette. Tower 2 laddered the roof, and removed the planter. The fire was put out quickly with no reported injuries, and the rest of the alarm was cancelled.
