At 15:11 on June 24th, 2020 South Metro Fire Rescue responded to a collision involving an overturned vehicle on Cottonwood Dr. just east of Chambers Rd. Parker Police Officers were first to arrive, they found a truck on its side with heavy damage and the driver trapped inside. Stabilization struts were used to secure the truck so it wouldn’t move while Paramedics assessed the patient. A hose line was ready in case any of the flammable liquids on the ground ignited and firefighters used extrication tools to remove portions of the truck cab. After the roof was removed, an airbag was used to lift the truck and free the driver. After approximately 20 minutes of extrication work, the driver was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. Parker Police Department is investigating the accident. Additional information was provided by South Metro Fire Rescue
