Pueblo Brush Fire

On November 17th, 2020 around 15:45 Pueblo Fire Department Engine 38 was dispatched to a brush fire in the 3300 block of N. Freeway. Engine 35 was clearing a call just east of the location of the fire and took the call in their place. Engine 35 could see active flames and smoke from their location and began responding. Smoke was visible for several miles. Engine 35 arrived on scene and geared up and pulled a booster line for fire attack. Crews were able to knock the fire down quickly and extinguish all the hot spots on one tank of water. The area that burned appeared to be a small homeless camp.
