Around 12:10 on June 4th, 2021 Adams County Fire Rescue responded to reported brush fire in the area of westbound I-270 to westbound I-76, and at York St. Crews arrived and found several fires burning along I-76 and I-270 that burned about 1 to 2 acres, the highway was closed in both directions between Washington St. & York St. Another fire was found at E. 7oth Ave. & Broadway near Twin Lakes Park, and that one was quickly put out. No structures were threatened and no injuries were reported. Additional information provided by Adams County Fire Rescue
