On April 8th, 2021 at approximately 14:30 Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to a hazardous materials incident in front of the Spinnaker Run Condominiums, 12156 E. Cornell Ave. A work crew ruptured a gas line in the middle of the street. Crew arrived on scene, established a hose line for safety and kept people away from the scene. Crews were on scene about two and a half hours while Xcel worked to fix the leak. No injuries were reported.
