Aurora Residential Fire

On February 28th, 2021 at approximately 06:25 Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire at 964 S. Jamaica St. Units arrived on scene and found heavy smoke and fire coming from a single-family residence. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and remained on scene about an hour ventilating the structure and mopping up hot spots. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
