Denver Garage Fire

At 07:51 on February 13th, 2021 Denver Fire Department responded to a reported single-family structure fire in the 2700 block of W. 39th Ave. in Sunnyside. Engine 7 arrived to smoke and fire showing from a garage in the back of the alley. The water supply was plugged from W. Denver Place & Eliot St. and the company performed initial attack with Engine 12 laying in the same plug. Truck 12 made force entry to the backyard where the fence and a shed with miscellaneous items were caught in flames from a possible downed power line. The fire was knocked and there were no other exposures or extension. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
