Mass Casualty Training Exercise

Larkspur Fire Rescue hosted a mass casualty training exercise at the Colorado Renaissance  Festival on May 17th, 2021. Organizers turned the Festival grounds into Liberty City and told participants it was ravished by a tornado. First responders searched for victims, conducted rescues and triaged patients. AirLife Denver, the Castle Rock Fire Rescue, Castle Rock Hospital, Colorado Department of Transportation, Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control, Colorado National Guard, Douglas County Office of Emergency Management, Douglas County Sheriff, Larkspur Fire Rescue, Jackson 105 Fire Protection District and Palmer Lake Fire Department participated in the exercise.
