South Metro Smoke Investigation

On April 9th, 2021 at approximately 09:55 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported commercial structure fire at the Greenwood Village Municipal Building and Police Department, 6060 S. Quebec St. Engine 33 arrived on scene and found that the building had been evacuated and that there was haze in the air in the basement.  Firefighters determined that there was no fire and that the haze was mostly caused by the building’s halon fire suppression system. No injuries were reported.
