South Adams Mobile Home Fire

At 12:16 on July 3rd, 2021 South Adams County Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 6500 block of E. 88th Ave. in the Wikiup Mobile Home Park in Irondale. Adcom advised 911 caller reporting flames from the roof. Battalion 21 arrived in command to a double wide trailer with a working fire, and heavy smoke from the eves. Truck 14 arrived and pulled a 1 3/4 line to the Alpha side for primary search and fire control. Truck 24 arrived and assisted with fire attack, and Engine 22 secured the water supply to Truck 14. Crews worked fire from the roof on the Bravo-Charlie corner. The fire was quickly extinguished and crews started overhaul on hot spots and the investigation.
