Fatal Semi Rollover

On May 6th, 2021 at 13:53 West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a reported rollover semi accident on Hwy. 285 near Hwy. 8 in Morrison. JeffCom advised tanker roll over and possible cab over the cliff. District 3 requested a full extrication, tech rescue and hazmat response. Crews arrived on scene of a semi truck that rolled over, separating the cab from the tank on the highway. The cab went down a steep incline and the driver was ejected. Flight for Life Lifeguard 1 was put on stand-by as Morrison Police officers worked on CPR with the patient. The accident is under investigation and the occupant did not survived. Highway 285 was closed in both directions for several hours. Additional information provided by West Metro Fire Rescue
