South Metro Restaurant Fire

At 14:12 on December 20th, 2021 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported commercial structure fire at Red Robin, 9130 Crown Crest Blvd. in Parker. Multiple callers reported smoke coming from the roof. Units arrived on scene and found a fire in the kitchen around the hood area. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire in about twenty minutes and spent another hour on scene checking for extension and ventilating  the building. One person was treated at the scene but declined to be transported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
