South Metro Porch Fire

On September 19th, 2021 at approximately 13:00 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire at the Terrace of Cherry Creek, 6475 S. Dayton St. South Metro Fire Dispatch Center (South Metro Fire Emergency Communications) advised that a fire was reported on a first floor terrace and was extending to the structure. Engine 31 arrived on scene and quickly extinguished a small fire on a first floor terrace. Units were on scene about 30 minutes mopping up hot spots and checking for extension. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
