Draft, Pump and Tender Training

South Metro Fire Rescue conducted draft, pump and tender operations training at the South Metro Fire Training Facility on January 22nd, 2021. A water tender is a type of firefighting apparatus that specializes in the transport of water to a fire scene, generally in areas without access to hydrants. In South Metro, the tenders are cross staffed by the crews assigned to other front line apparatus.
