Thornton 3rd Alarm Fire

On November 19th, 2021 at 20:29 Thornton Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire in the 13200 block of Columbine Circle. Truck 74 and Med 74 arrived to a small two-story residential with heavy fire showing from the Bravo and Charlie from one home and threating a second home, and Med 74 assisted with the second house. Truck 74 completed a 360 and reported a total of 3 homes on fire and requested a 2nd alarm. Engine 73 arrived and established the water supply and started fire attack with Engine 75 and Engine 76. Truck 74 started master stream operations on the main home, and Truck 24 started master stream operations to the attic of the second home. Crews worked heavy fire with defensive fire conditions, and a 3rd alarm was struck. Crews worked the fire for an extended time with a extensive overhaul.
