The West Metro Academy Class 21-01 held family night on April 23rd, 2021 at the West Metro Fire Training Center in Lakewood. The recruits gave their families a look at what they’ve learned over the past few weeks. From firefighting, to auto extrication to technical rescue. There are 26 recruits in the class, 13 with West Metro Fire Rescue, nine with Arvada Fire Protection District, three with Tri-Lakes Monument Fire Protection District and one with Castle Rock Fire Rescue.
