West Metro Chimney Fire

At 20:46 on February 12th, 2021 West Metro Fire Rescue with auto-aid from Arvada Fire Protection District responded to a reported structure fire in the 2300 block of Beech Court in unincorporated Jefferson County. Engine 2 arrived to a two-story residential structure with embers coming from the chimney and started the investigation. Crews got the fire out quickly controlled to the fireplace only with no extension into the attic space and the rest of the response was cancelled.
