At 13:06 on January 8th, 2021 West Metro Fire Rescue Rescue 10 was dispatched to a possible RV on fire in the 4500 block of S. Lakehurst Way in unincorporated Jefferson County. Rescue 10 advised of smoke in the air and requested a full response with possibly the fire being close to a structure. Rescue 10 arrived to a fully involved RV fire on the Alpha side and pulled a line in for fire control. Engine 12 arrived and secured the water supply and Medic 10 assisted with fire attack. The fire was put under control quickly and the rest of the response was cancelled. The RV was a total loss, and no one was injured. The cause of the fire was an electrical malfunction.
