Westminster Restaurant Fire

At 08:26 on May 12th, 2021 Westminster Fire Department responded to a structure fire at the Pizza Hut / Wings Street, 7820 Sheridan Blvd. Engine 3 arrived to a small one-story commercial building with a working fire from the attic, pulled a 1 3/4 for fire control in the offensive strategy. Crews worked heavy fire with it quickly spreading throughout the attic and through the roof. With a partially collapsed of the roof the fire was switched to defensive operations. Several aerial master streams were set-up to assist with the fire in the attic. The fire was placed under control and the cause is under investigation. No injuries were reported.
