Arvada West 56th Place Working Garage Fire

Arvada Garage Fire

At 16:36 on April 26th, 2022 Arvada Fire Protection District with auto-aid from Fairmount Fire Protection District and West Metro Fire Rescue responded to a working garage fire in the 12700 block of W. 56th Place in the Candlelight neighborhood. Truck 31 arrived with a working garage fire and pulled a line in for fire attack. Battalion 52 arrived and assumed command in the offensive strategy. Rescue 52 pulled a 2nd line off Truck 31 to interior of the home and check for extension and Engine 58 arrived and secured the water supply to Truck 31. All residents safely evacuated with no injuries reported. Crews quickly worked to put out the fire and contain it primarily within the garage.
