Aurora Electrical Fire

Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire at 14373 E. Aurora Ave. on February 3rd, 2022 at approximately 08:00. Engine 8 arrived on scene and observed light smoke in the residence. Ladder 5 checked the roof for the source of the smoke while crews from Engine 2, Engine 8 and Ladder 6 pulled parts of the ceiling in and around the garage. Burning wires were found in the eaves outside one of the garages. Firefighters were able to mitigate the situation and ventilate the building within 30 minutes. No injuries were reported.
