Aurora Driver Training

Firefighters from Aurora Fire Rescue took advantage of the adverse weather conditions on March 9th, 2022 to engage in driver training at the Aurora Public Safety Training Center. Two training engines and a ladder truck were put through their paces in seven different stations in preparation for an upcoming engineer promotional examination.

The Aurora Public Safety Training Center, located at 25950 E. Quincy Ave. and is shared with the Aurora Police Department. It houses an administrative building with five classrooms, a five-story drill tower, and a burn building. Aurora Fire Rescue has four training engines and a ladder truck station at the training facility.
