At approximately 18:35 on March 1st, 2022 Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported commercial structure fire at the UniFirst Uniform Services, 14000 E. Moncrieff Place. Engine 3 arrived on scene and found fire in the Charlie-Delta corner of the 37,000 square foot industrial warehouse. Due to the size of the structure and difficulty accessing the building a second alarm was toned out. Engine 3 and Ladder 2 made entry from the west while Ladder 5 and Ladder 16 forced garage doors open on the east and checked the roof. Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control in about twenty minutes and spent about an hour checking for extension, conducting overhaul and ventilating the building. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
