Aurora Vehicle Fire

On February 28th, 2022 at approximately 06:25 Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported residential structure fire on S. Genoa Way near S. Espana Way. Engine 10 arrived in the area and found a fully involved car fire in the greenbelt behind 3685 S. Flanders Court. The fire had spread to the grass and nearby privacy fence. The crews from Engine 10 and Engine 6 quickly extinguished the fire and the full structure fire response was cancelled. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
