2nd Alarm Commercial Fire

On September 13th, 2022 at approximately 03:05 South Metro Fire Rescue was dispatched to a reported commercial structure fire at the United Parcel Service Distribution Center, 13101 James E. Casey Ave. in Douglas County. Dispatch advised responding units that vehicles inside the warehouse were on fire. Engine 44 arrived on scene and found active fire about thirty yards into the building near the Charlie/Delta corner. Crews were able to extinguish the fire fairly quickly but remained on scene about two hours ventilating the 232,000 square foot warehouse. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
