Denver Large Trash Fire

On September 20th, 2022 at 13:25 Denver Fire Department was dispatched to a commercial structure fire at the Waste Management South Metro Transfer Facility, 2400 W. Union Ave. in Englewood. Crews arrived to heavy fire and pulled attack line. Truck 38 started master stream operations and Engine 36 supplied water to Truck 38. Engine 25 arrived and secured the water supply and Engine 37 supplied water to Truck 28. Crews worked fire for several hours before getting control. No injuries were reported.
